Return & Refund Policy Last updated: January 2026 We want you to be confident in your purchase from Steadfast Forestry Products. Please review this policy carefully, as it outlines eligibility, conditions, and limitations for returns, refunds, and exchanges. 1. Return Window We offer a 14-day return window from the date you receive your order to request a return. All return requests must be approved in advance. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted. To request a return, contact us at: steadfastforestry@gmail.com 2. Return Eligibility To be eligible for a return: - The item must be new, unused, and unmodified - The item must be returned in original packaging, including all components - Proof of purchase is required Returns that do not meet these criteria may be rejected. 3. Items Not Eligible for Return We do not accept returns for: - Items that have been modified in any way - Items showing signs of use, including carbon buildup, exhaust residue, heat discoloration, or tool marks - Custom, made-to-order, or special production items - Sale or final-sale items - Gift cards If you are unsure whether an item is eligible, please contact us before purchasing. 4. U.S. Orders Due to current U.S. import regulations, all U.S. orders are considered final sale. We are unable to accept returns or issue refunds on U.S. shipments at this time. 5. Return Shipping Approved returns must be shipped to: Steadfast Forestry Products 188 Line Hill Road Huntsville, Ontario, Canada P1H 2N5 Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. 6. Inspection & Restocking All approved returns are subject to a detailed inspection upon receipt. Return approvals are based on customer representations regarding item condition and any photos or videos provided during the return process. If an item claimed as defective, damaged, unused, or unmodified is found to be used, modified, tampered with, or otherwise not in returnable condition, one or more of the following may apply: - A 20% restocking fee - Rejection of the return - Return of the item to the customer at the customer’s expense Returns may take a few business days to process and inspect. Inspection determinations are final. 7. Return Inspection & Condition Verification If inspection determines that an item does not match the condition stated by the customer, the return may be rejected and no refund issued. This includes, but is not limited to: - Evidence of tampering or improper installation - Use-related residue, discoloration, or wear - Alterations such as grinding, drilling, welding, or tuning-related changes - Missing, substituted, or damaged components Any inspection, restocking, or handling fees incurred are non-refundable. Documentation, including photographs or video, may be used to support return decisions or respond to payment disputes or chargebacks. 8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible, including clear photos or a short video. This allows us to assess and resolve the issue efficiently. Claims must be submitted within 14 days of receipt. If the damage appears to have been caused during transit, please refer to Section 12 below. 9. Installation & Use Responsibility Our products are intended for use by experienced or professional users. We are not responsible for issues arising from: - Improper installation or removal - Incorrect tuning or setup - Use outside the product’s intended application - Modifications to the product or the equipment it is installed on Performance expectations, sound characteristics, or compatibility concerns that differ from customer expectations do not constitute defects. 10. Exchanges If you wish to exchange an item, the fastest method is to: - Request and complete an approved return (if eligible) - Place a new order once the return is processed 11. Refunds Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection. If approved: - Refunds are issued to the original payment method - Processing typically occurs within 10 business days - A 20% restocking fee may apply - Original shipping charges are non-refundable If a return is rejected, the item may be returned to you at your request and expense. 12. Shipping & Pre-Orders Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. We are not liable for lost, misdelivered, or returned packages caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses or contact information. Pre-order items are produced and shipped as they become available. Estimated shipping dates are provided at checkout but may change due to production schedules. Once an order leaves our facility, it is in the carrier’s possession and subject to transit conditions, including customs inspections. All shipments are fully insured while in transit. Claims for lost, stolen, or damaged packages must be submitted within 10 days of the expected delivery date. Insurance claims may require documentation, such as photos or police reports. Customers are responsible for any duties, tariffs, or taxes assessed by local customs. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost. Refused shipments due to unpaid duties or fees are treated as abandoned and are non-refundable. 13. Chargebacks We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback if a customer has not followed this Return & Refund Policy. This includes providing false information regarding returns, item condition, or shipment status, as well as delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer. 14. Holiday & Closure Periods Customer service, returns, and order processing may be unavailable during holidays or scheduled closures. Auto-replies or notices will indicate when services will resume. 15. Right to Refuse Service We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit returns, refunds, or service at our discretion, including in cases involving policy violations, abusive behavior, suspected fraud, or misuse of our products. 16. Duties, Tariffs, & Other Taxes Last updated: January 2026 Orders shipped outside of Canada — including the United States — may be subject to customs duties, tariffs, taxes, or other import fees as determined by your local customs authority. These charges: - Are not included in your purchase price or shipping cost - Are the responsibility of the customer - Are typically collected after shipment or upon delivery Refused Shipments If you refuse to pay required duties, taxes, or import fees, the shipment will not be returned to us. Carriers will treat the package as abandoned, since they will charge the same fees again plus return shipping and Canadian customs fees. These combined costs usually exceed the order value, so no refund will be issued for shipments refused at delivery or due to unpaid fees. U.S. Customers As of August 29, 2025, the United States suspended the de minimis exemption for certain countries, including Canada. This means duties may now apply to Canadian-made goods under $800 USD, which were previously exempt. Duties may include: - Ad valorem duties: based on declared product value and classification - Flat-rate fees: typically $80–$200 USD per item, depending on origin and product type - Brokerage and other processing fees as determined by the courier Packages may also be opened and resealed by customs during inspection.
